To determine the correct insert size for your pillow sham, pull tight along the outer seams and measure the middle of the sham from seam to seam in both height and width.

We recommend using a pillow insert that is slightly larger than your sham to properly fill out the corners and provide a firm and fluffy look. For shams that are 1" or 2" smaller than the insert, depending on the thickness of the fabric, use a 2" larger insert for thicker fabrics and a 1" larger insert for lighter fabrics.
